DAYAN Contract Mining LLC is a joint venture between Redpath Mongolia LLC and Hasu DAYAN LLC, serving as a premier contractor for underground mining and support services at Oyu Tolgoi. Our scope encompasses a full suite of development services, ranging from lateral and mass excavation development to underground construction, which includes steel set and roadway construction, and raiseboring. Recently, our responsibilities expanded to encompass quality control and assurance, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence. Our underground development and construction support services consistently exceed performance benchmarks, with lateral development averaging 1,100 meters per month. Redpath Mongolia is part of The Redpath Group, a global leader in full-service underground mining contracting. With over 60 years of international experience and more than 20 years in Mongolia, Redpath is committed to its core value: Safety — First, Last, and Always. To support training, Redpath has established centers in Ulaanbaatar, Dalanzadgad and Khanbogd. Crucially, Redpath has become a Certified Training Organization in Mongolia, enabling us to issue nationally recognized underground mining and equipment operator licenses. Our safety and training efforts have yielded measurable results. Many of the Mongolian miners we have trained now work internationally. Redpath’s strength lies in our global experience, long-standing reputation, and commitment to high standards.
